Filling the Gaps in Your Marketing
Kent’s innate curiosity for how things work – and how they might work better – pointed him straight into his career. A veteran ad agency and client-side marketer, Kent uncovers the true source of his client’s marketing pain and provides strategic relief with uncovered opportunities.
After graduating from Wichita State University with a Bachelor’s in Advertising/Public Relations and a Marketing minor, Kent’s path led him to stops at a small but impressive handful of ad agencies, including Sullivan Higdon & Sink (now Signal Theory) and Barkley, where he led teams on behalf of brands such as AMR Corp., Sprint, and Pizza Hut.
Two corporate opportunities provided great perspectives from the client side of the table: Manager of National Programs at Rent-A-Center, a 1,000-store rent-to-own brand; and Marketing Manager at Marley Cooling Technologies, a leading global manufacturer of full-service cooling towers and air-cooled heat exchangers. These positions expanded Kent’s marketing lens, giving him direct involvement in operations, merchandising, and a variety of other key client positions to enhance his ad agency knowledge.
Kent’s key focus today is small business owners. These entrepreneurial-minded professionals have “skin in the game” and understand there are only a certain amount of hours in each day. Oftentimes, marketing is the most logical outsource, and that’s how Kent saves clients time, headaches, and money.
